For Creators

ZERG supports two offering types. The setup process is different for each.

Initial Box Offering (IBO) — for launching a new token. Fully self-serve. You configure everything in the app and go live without any admin involvement.

Redistribution Box Offering (RBO) — for distributing an existing token. Admin-supported. You work with the ZERG team before anything goes live.

Choose the one that matches what you are trying to do.

1. Create an Initial Box Offering

Anyone can launch a token on ZERG. No gatekeeping. No admin approval. You set it up, you go live.

What you provide

When you create an IBO, you fill in:

  • image

  • token name and ticker

  • description

  • socials

  • offering type

  • offering tier

  • payout preference

Offering types

Choose how token outcomes are distributed across boxes:

  • Jackpot — outcomes are weighted toward larger wins

  • Equitable — outcomes are distributed more evenly across buyers

Tier configuration

You set three things:

  • Total token supply — the total number of tokens being launched

  • Number of boxes — how many boxes the supply is split across

  • Target offering value — how much SOL you want to raise

ZERG calculates the price per box automatically.

Price per box = target offering value ÷ number of boxes

Your payout

You receive 10% of the total offering value. You choose how you take it:

  • all in SOL

  • all in tokens

  • a mix of both

If you include a token component, those tokens come from the buyer allocation and are locked for a period based on the percentage you chose — the higher the token share, the longer the lock.

Submitting

When you submit, a creation fee is charged and your offering is created on-chain.

Once live, the economics are fixed. You cannot change launch parameters after the offering starts.

2. Create a Redistribution Box Offering

RBOs are not self-serve. The setup is admin-supported.

Here is how it works:

  1. Reach out to the ZERG team at [email protected]envelope

  2. Create your profile on zerg.app

  3. ZERG prepares the offering based on your requirements

  4. You deposit the required tokens

  5. ZERG reviews and approves the setup

  6. The offering becomes eligible for campaign launch

3. Track your offerings

Track everything from My Offerings.

For IBOs, you can see:

  • live sales progress and amount raised

  • minimum threshold (soft cap) and hard cap progress

  • creator payout status and whether it is claimable or claimed

For RBOs, you can see:

  • active and completed campaigns

  • overall offering status

  • payout and fee status

4. Claim your earnings

Once your offering settles and your creator payout is ready, claim it from My Offerings.

For IBOs, your payout is 10% of the total offering value in whatever format you configured at setup. If you chose a token component, those tokens are locked for a period based on the percentage you took — the higher the token share, the longer the lock.

For RBOs, your SOL payout becomes claimable as soon as the last campaign finishes. If not all boxes were sold, you can also claim the unsold tokens back from My Offerings.
