Initial Box Offering (IBO)
Initial Box Offering (IBO)
An Initial Box Offering is how new tokens launch on ZERG.
This is not a race. It is not a bonding curve. It is not "I hope liquidity shows up later."
This is a structured launch with built-in liquidity before the market opens.
The Problem
Every launch follows the same pattern. Token is created, supply concentrates, early buyers wait for exit liquidity, people rush in, early buyers and bots dump, the chart collapses.
There is no separation between people who want extraction and people who actually want exposure to the project. That is why a vast majority of launches fall apart quickly.
How IBO Works
IBO is built to break the pattern.
Users buy boxes during the live sale and open them in-app. Once the sale ends, users have a grace period to manually open any remaining boxes. Any boxes left unopened after the grace period are resolved automatically.
Everything happens through the same interface. No extra steps. No switching between tools.

What happens next is the key difference.
Pre-Market Liquidity
After processing, the system opens a cashout window. During this phase, users can take SOL instead of claiming tokens. This is done from Inventory and the option is time-limited.
Only after the cashout window ends do tokens become claimable to user wallets, LP gets created, and trading begins.
This is not an extra feature. This is the core of the model.
Before the token ever hits the market, people who wanted instant liquidity have already exited. People who remain are choosing exposure. Supply that would have been dumped is taken out of circulation.
So when trading starts, it starts cleaner. No forced sellers. No immediate unwind.
What Creators Get
Creators launch through a self-serve flow directly in ZERG. Configure the token, set the offering structure, and go live.
Once the offering completes successfully, creators receive a payout as a percentage of SOL generated. Offering economics are fixed from the moment the sale goes live. No hidden changes, no moving targets.

Safety Net
If an offering does not reach its minimum threshold, it does not proceed. Users get their SOL back. No one is stuck holding tokens from a launch that never had enough support to get off the ground.
